The first 100 people to start a trial and become members are Founding Hunters. Your founding number is assigned automatically at signup — number 101 onward is a regular membership. Numbers are never recycled, so a cancellation does not open a slot back up, and upgrading to a future tier keeps your original founding number.

- Plans may split into tiers. Bigger properties, more stands, and advanced analytics may move into higher tiers, so the same access you'd get today for $125/yr may cost more in 2027. Nothing about your current-year access changes when tiers launch.

- How does the 14-day free trial work?
- Enter your credit card to activate your account and get instant, full access to every DeerMapper feature. You won't be charged for the first 14 days — the trial gives you time to drop pins, upload sightings, and see real predictions on your land before you commit.
- When does my card get charged?
- On day 15. If you keep your membership active through the end of the trial, we bill the one-time $125 fee for your first year of DeerMapper. You'll get an email receipt from Stripe the moment the charge goes through.
- What happens if I cancel during the trial?
- Cancel any time in the first 14 days and you pay $0 — no partial charges, no fees. Your account access continues until the trial period ends, then closes automatically.
- What does the $125/yr membership include?
- Everything. Unlimited pins, sightings, and trail-cam uploads; the full Map, Scout, Hunt, and Evolve technology; access to the mobile app; the desktop companion; wind, moon, and pressure overlays; and email and phone support.
- Do you offer a monthly plan?
- No. DeerMapper is annual only, billed as one upfront fee for the full year. Hunting patterns are seasonal, and the AI needs time to learn your land across a full year of movement, weather, and pressure so predictions get sharper the longer you use it. The upfront annual fee gives DeerMapper that time to deliver the best results.
- Does the membership renew automatically?
- Yes. Your membership renews on the anniversary of your first charge unless you cancel. Each renewal is one upfront annual payment, and we'll email you before any renewal. You can cancel from your account at any time.
- Can I get a refund after I'm charged?
- The 14-day free trial is your window to try everything risk-free. Because the annual fee is paid upfront, subscriptions are non-refundable after the first charge, but you can cancel any time to stop future renewals.
- Is my payment information secure?
- Yes. All billing runs through Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment processor used by millions of businesses. DeerMapper never sees or stores your full card number.
