Terms of Use

DEERMAPPER, LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provides the DeerMapper website and mobile application (collectively, the “Service”). These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Service. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal authority to enter into this agreement.

2. User Accounts and Security

You agree to provide accurate information, maintain the security of your password, notify us immediately of any suspected unauthorized access, and accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.

3. User Content and Data

You retain full ownership of all content you submit. By posting content, you grant DeerMapper, LLC a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, process, and display your content solely as necessary to provide and improve the Service. You acknowledge that your trail camera photos and hunting data will be processed by our patented AI system.

4. Prohibited Uses

  • Using the Service to violate any local, state, or federal hunting laws or wildlife regulations.
  • Trespassing on private property based on map data provided by the Service.
  • Reverse engineering, decompiling, or disassembling any part of the Service.
  • Using automated tools to scrape or harvest data without written permission.
  • Interfering with or disrupting the integrity or performance of the Service.

5. Membership, Billing, and Annual Commitment

DeerMapper is sold as a 12-month membership billed as a single annual payment of $129.95, covering the full 12-month term. Your membership runs from your term start date to your term end date, and includes the DeerMapper Adapter, which connects a trail-camera SD card to your phone.

Free trial. New members receive a 14-day free trial. If you cancel before the trial ends, you are charged $0 and no membership agreement takes effect. Your annual membership charge begins when the trial ends.

Renewal. Memberships renew automatically at the end of each 12-month term at the then-current rate, unless you cancel before the renewal date. We will notify you by email before a renewal charge.

Refunds. Because the trial period lets you evaluate the Service at no cost, payments are non-refundable after the first charge, except where required by law.

Failed or missed payments. If a payment fails, we may retry the charge, suspend your access, and pursue collection of amounts owed under this agreement. Reinstatement of access requires that your account be brought current.

6. Taxes

All prices are exclusive of applicable taxes. Some jurisdictions tax digital services, software, and subscription products and others do not. Depending on your billing address, state and local sales, use, or similar taxes may be added to your membership fee. Any applicable tax is calculated at checkout and shown before you confirm your purchase, and may also be applied to renewals. You are responsible for any taxes assessed on your purchase other than taxes based on our net income. If tax rates or rules change during your term, the amount of tax charged on future renewals may change accordingly.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service and its technology are the exclusive property of DeerMapper, LLC, protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws, including U.S. Patent No. 9,706,756 and U.S. Patent No. 12,382,950.

8. Map Accuracy and Safety Disclaimer

Mapping data, property boundary lines, and GPS services are for general reference only. We do not guarantee their accuracy. You are solely responsible for identifying legal property boundaries and ensuring you are hunting in lawful areas.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DeerMapper, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total cumulative liability shall not exceed the amounts you paid to DeerMapper in the three months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless DeerMapper, LLC and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and licensors from any claims arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for any reason including a breach of these Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin. Any dispute shall be submitted to binding arbitration in Green Bay, Wisconsin. You waive any right to participate in a class-action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.

14. Changes to These Terms

We will notify registered users of material changes at least 14 days before they take effect.
