Accessibility Statement

Last Updated: July 2026 · DeerMapper, LLC

DeerMapper is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for all users, including those with disabilities. We work continuously to improve the accessibility of our website and applications to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.

Our Commitment

We believe hunting intelligence should be accessible to every hunter. We’ve designed our website and signup flow with accessibility in mind, following modern web standards to ensure usability across different abilities and devices.

What We’ve Done

Structural & Navigation

  • Proper semantic HTML with correct heading hierarchy
  • Keyboard navigation fully supported throughout the site
  • Visible focus indicators when tabbing through interactive elements
  • Logical tab order for forms and navigation

Visual Accessibility

  • Text and background colors meet WCAG AA contrast standards (4.5:1 minimum)
  • No information conveyed by color alone
  • Responsive design that works on all screen sizes
  • Text resizes properly when zoomed

Content & Forms

  • All images include descriptive alt text
  • Form fields have clear, associated labels
  • Error messages are specific and helpful
  • Required fields clearly marked
  • Password fields properly identified

Screen Reader Support

  • Semantic HTML structure aids screen reader navigation
  • ARIA labels used where necessary
  • Form buttons and links have descriptive text
  • Dynamic content updates announced appropriately

Audit Status

Our most recent automated audit (axe-core, WCAG 2.1 A/AA rules) returned zero violations across the home, pricing, founders club, start trial, about, research, and accessibility pages. Signup and newsletter forms are built in-house with visible labels, no third-party embedded form iframes, and dynamic content such as the founding-slot counter and form status messages is announced to screen readers.

Known Limitations

We’re transparent about ongoing improvements:

  • Third-party services: Checkout is handled by our payment processor's hosted pages, and marketing data is processed by HubSpot. Their interfaces are outside our direct control; we monitor and report accessibility issues to those vendors.
  • Legacy content: Older blog articles and archived pages are being audited and updated for full WCAG compliance.
  • Browser compatibility: We test on modern browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge). Very old browser versions may not support all accessibility features.
